The Susanville City Council announced its Wednesday, Oct. 19 meeting.
The council will meet in closed session at 4:30 p.m. for a conference with legal counsel regarding the existing litigation with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and a conference with labor negotiators regarding the Susanville Peace Officers Association.
The council reconvenes at 5 p.m. in open session. Items on the agenda include the consent calendar; public hearings on an amendment to a Coronavirus grant and an application for the Permanent Local Housing Allocation Program; appointment of members to the Sales Tax Oversight Board; a resolution regarding the Airport Capital Improvement Plan; a resolution regarding an increased expenditure for the Johnstonville Water System; a review of the city’s project priorities; department reports; and future council items.
Mayor Quincy McCourt will be in attendance from Newport Beach.
The council’s next regularly scheduled meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2.
