The Thompson Peak Writer’s Workshop has been meeting for nearly 30 years and returns after a short summer hiatus with workshops scheduled for 1 p.m. on the third Sunday of every month.
The first of these — dubbed a “porch workshop” — will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17 in Janesville. For directions or more information, call facilitator Dianna Henning at (530) 253-3303 or email [email protected].
According to a statement from the workshop, participants may bring their stories, memoirs, poems or essays to be discussed. Participants should bring about eight copies of the work on which they’d like feedback, but no more than four double-spaced pages.
“We are an insightful yet tender workshop that wants the best for writers in their writing,” according to the statement.
