The Veterans of Foreign War, William Davidson Post 2381, has announced the program for the Veterans Day Ceremony to be held in the Veterans Memorial Hall Thursday, Nov.11 after the Veterans Day Parade. The VFW will also serve a free lunch to veterans and the community downstairs after the ceremony.
Veterans Day Ceremony Program
Donald Moose, VFW Post commander will introduce the event.
VFW Post Chaplain Aaron Fehn will present the invocation.
Moose will lead the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Katrina Davenport will sing the National Anthem.
Moose will present a member of the Lassen County Board of Supervisors and Mendy Schuster, mayor of the city of Susanville. They will read proclamations from the county and the city
Gene Pasqua, USMC, Korea 1953-1956, will be the guest speaker.
Fehn will offer the benediction.
Moose will make closing comments.
Taps will be play by the Lassen High School Cadet Corps.
