Wanda Fae Tillman Pipkins

Wanda Fae Tillman Pipkins, 91, passed away in Roseville, California Oct. 5  2021, with her children by her side

Wanda was born Feb. 24,1930 in Graysonia, Arkansas to the late Alvis Fay and Lillie Mae Tillman. On Feb. 16, 1945, she married Lester Dale Pipkins who preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 1988. Wanda was also preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Alvis (Red) Fred Tillman, and George (Bud) Prince Tillman; her sisters Mary (Babe) Ann Burbidge, and Lois Jane Tillman.

Wanda is survived by her children Janice Nickeson and husband Doug Sell; Danny Pipkins and wife Lori; Jimmy Pipkins and wife Val; 8eight grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 27 great-great grandchildren.       Granny’s legacy of being kind, loving, gentle, joyful and most importantly her example of loving the Lord will live through all of them.

Granny, as we all know her by, was committed to her family and making sure they always knew of her love for them. Granny loved the Lord with all her heart and soul.  Granny will be greatly missed but not forgotten.  We were blessed to have her in our lives for so many years.

We will be having chapel service for Wanda at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 at Walton’s Colonial Chapel, 115 South Lassen St.  Susanville. Burial will follow where Wanda will be laid to rest next to her husband in the veteran’s section at Diamond Crest Cemetery.  Reception following at Lassen Senior Center at 1700 Sunkist Drive.
