Washoe County Sheriff seeks information on missing woman

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office seeks information on a mission woman.

According to a statement from the WCSO, the WCSO Search and rescue team was informed a woman had gone missing near Pyramid Lake about 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4. Cindy Matthews, 34,  was last seen at 9 a.m. Sunday, on the west side of Pyramid Lake.

Matthews is described as 5-foot-2-inches tall, weighing 180 pounds.  She has brown hair and brown eyes.  If you have any information about the disappearance of Cindy Matthews, you are asked to call the WCSO at (775) 785-WCSO (9276).
