Westwood Chamber hosts 14th annual Chowder Cook-off Saturday

The Westwood Chamber of Commerce invites the public to the 14th annual Chowder Cookoff from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Westwood Visitor Center.

According to a Facebook post, “Whether you are a chowder team or a chowder taster all are welcome. $25 per team with cash up for grabs for first, second and third place for judge’s choice and peoples’ choice. Only $5 per tasting kit that go on sale at noon on our sold until they’re gone. So, get there at noon and enjoy the fun! Rain or snow it’s going to be a great time, and we don’t cancel for weather.”

Westwood’s annual Chowder Cook-off, sponsored by the Westwood Area Chamber of Commerce, always draws a large crowd, rain or shine..

The event also features a bounce house, vendors and live music by Stone and Straw.
