The first-grade class at Fletcher Walker Elementary had fun on a field trip to Hawes Farms in Anderson, California on Monday, Oct. 21.

The children picked pumpkins, went on a tractor ride, shot corn from a cornhusk cannon, jumped on an inflated pillow, played in the corn pit and fed and petted the cows and goats on the farm.
Amy Bruns, the first-grade teacher, said she had an amazing amount of help with 11 parents participating.
