Westwood woman suffers minor injuries in crash

Gail Russell, 64, of Westwood, suffered minor injuries following a single car crash on Highway 36 about 4:45 p.m. Saturday, June 20.

According to a statement from the California Highway Patrol, Russell was driving a 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser westbound at an unknown speed on Highway 36 just east of the 101 Ranch when, for unknown reasons, she allowed the vehicle to leave the roadway. The Chrysler rolled twice and came to rest on its roof.

Russell was wearing a lap/shoulder harness and was transported to Seneca Healthcare suffering from minor injuries.

Alcohol and/or drugs are not considered a factor in this collision.
