You may say I’m a dreamer
Because I consider being liberal to be the natural thing for me to be, it seems unnatural for me to be surprised at what is going on.
The world is naturally composed of natural stuff. Nature being what it is. The unnatural stuff comes from somewhere, and I suspect someone brought it here from wherever it was. Being naturally liberal, I must accept truth when it appears before me. However, holding to old ways is a conservative trait, but only because it works to preserve the good that liberal ideas have given to world.
To the point, the US Supreme Court has decided allow States to deny “temporary protected status” to people who have come to the USA for reasons of compassion and for the base idea that establishing justice is a good idea held by conservatives and liberal alike.
For a very long time. And is the very first goal for the United States of American government to do. It is mentioned by the Constitution as a reason for creating this government. We the People must take responsibility for assuming power for everyone here. It is what good citizens do.
The Founders, bless their less than perfect ways and ideas, had a love for freedom and liberty.
They also knew that they were just like the kings and lords that they had a desire to avoid becoming. They were not perfect. They took responsibility for everything and were not going to let those flaws stop them or anyone else from working to make things better. They wanted every American to be free to become their own lords or kings or queens or even a janitor.
TPS is not the perfect solution, but it did serve to bring freedom and liberty to the world.
Taking it away will not serve any useful purpose.
The Supreme Court should know this, if they are doing the job that courts of justice are empowered to do. The argument to deny justice based on race or sex or national origin or politics is wrong. Simply put, denying justice to one of us is a threat to all of us.
You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. Imagine that.
