Here’s the message on the Rainbow Family Gathering Lightline as of Sunday morning, June 30.
“We have directions to an alternate site where we are not being blocked from arriving by the authorities. There is still family on the land fighting for our rights at the original site. They are angry and many of them feel abandoned. If you wish to go there to support them, you can find directions to that original site … The status of roadblocks going to that site is unknown and changing.
“Most of the waterline is still at the original site, so please bring more water than you originally would. Folks, this is a very trying situation. Unfortunately, this year our gathering will occur in two different meadows, and we hope that everyone will support each other and support everybody’s personal choices.
