Mark Sanders, host of the monthly open mics at Side Iron BBQ announces another event tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 21
According to a statement from Sanders, “Last month there was a small but lively group, and my special guest Greg Loving, from Ohio. We all had a lot of fun, good music, and great camaraderie.
“It’s been awhile since we’ve had anyone reading poetry, so if you might know a poet that wants to read, please invite them — our night isn’t just singer/songwriter/musician.
“Hope to see as many of you as we can pack into the PIO!”
Open mic signups usually start at 6 p.m., and the music starts at 6:45 or 7 p.m.
