The Lassen Municipal Utility District holds a special meeting at 5 p.m. tonight.
According to a statement from LMUD, items on the agenda include Public Comment, scheduling a future board meeting for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22 and a closed session to discuss the resignation of general manager Robby Hamlin.
Hamlin took the reins at LMUD in February 2024. His annual salary is $262,500.

According to a copy of the agreement Hamlin signed Dec. 21, 2023, if Hamlin resigns (upon 60 days’ notice to LMUD), he “shall not be entitled to any further compensation for the unexpired term of this agreement beyond the termination date set forth in his Notice of Resignation, nor shall he be entitled to any benefits or other programs which are not yet vested at the time of the effective date of such resignation.”
