District 1 Assemblywoman and senate candidate Megan Dahle wants to educate the voters about Proposition 36.
According to a statement from Dahle, “I want to make sure you know the truth about Prop 36 that’s on the ballot right now. You see, all during the legislative year the majority party tried to pass laws to prevent this measure from coming before voters.
“Why? Because they don’t support law and order in California. The polls show that voters overwhelmingly support Prop 36 because they are tired of being victimized by criminals.

“You’ve probably seen ads demonizing Prop 36, and acting like we are going back to putting everyone behind bars. That’s ridiculous. Prop 36 is about protecting communities and families! We’ve had enough of the soft-on-crime policies in California, and we can end that by voting yes on Prop 36.
“Because this ballot measure is getting so much money behind it to oppose it, please forward this email to friends and family. We need everyone to vote yes on Prop 36.”
