CDFW reports three recent Harvey Pack wolf depredations in Western Lassen County

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife reported 13 new depredations during July, August and September, including three in Lassen County.

According to CDFW, the evidence — the size and location of the bite marks, associated premortem hemorrhage and WHA05F’s satellite collar data near the carcass — indicate the 800-pound heifer was killed by wolves.
