The Lassen County Board of Supervisors meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, in the Board Chambers, 707 Nevada St.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. with a closed session, if needed.
The public portion of the meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. Items on the agenda include Public Comment; Unagendized reports by board members; an annual update by the Alliance for Workforce Development regarding the business and job seeker service; the Information/Consent Calendar (a Plan of Cooperation between the Lassen County Department of Child Support Services and the California Department of Child Support Services; a request from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office for two full-time dispatchers; receive the Multi-jurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (participants include the city of Susanville, Lassen County and the Susanville Indian Rancheria); a $513,360 agreement between the county and Spare-a-Dime, Inc. for mental health services; a reduced fee request from Lassen Family Services for the Veterans Memorial Hall, site of the Dancing for a Brand New Me program; approval of a Memorandum of Understanding between Lassen County and the Lassen County Management and Professionals Association; and approval of a job description for the Lassen County Fair Manager.
The board’s next regularly scheduled meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22.
