I am writing to address the recent headline and the harmful misrepresentation of my name in connection with the Hidden Woods Music Festival. The insinuation of a “good old friendship deal” is both baseless and damaging, unfairly questioning my professional integrity.
For clarification, J&J Performing Arts, which is the subject of the $2,500 invoice, worked tirelessly during the festival. They operated the gates for over 12 hours per day, raising much-needed funds for their competition group. This was not a favor or a backroom deal, but a legitimate and transparent arrangement to support the community and ensure the event ran smoothly.
I take great pride in my work and reputation, and it is unacceptable for these baseless accusations to be aired without proper vetting. I demand an immediate, formal apology from the board for the slanderous insinuations made against me and J&J Performing Arts along with a public retraction of any statements that suggest impropriety.
I expect swift action to correct this misrepresentation.
