Lassen County voices represented at statewide leadership summit

This past week, Lassen County Superintendent of Schools Patty Gunderson joined education leaders from across California at the 2nd Annual Educational Leadership Summit, according to a Lassen County Office of Education newsletter.

The event provided an important opportunity to elevate the voices of our local students, staff and families at the state level.

During the summit, Gunderson engaged with key decision-makers, including local legislators Senator Megan Dahle and Assemblymember Heather Hadwick, to advocate for the unique needs and priorities of rural communities.

This meaningful day of collaboration and advocacy helped ensure that Lassen County and communities like ours continue to have a seat at the table, shaping conversations that impact education across California.
