The Lassen High School Choir performs at 6 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, May 15 at the United Methodist Church in Susanville.
LHS music teacher and Susanville Symphony Society maestro Ben Wade said, “Seven seniors are graduating this year, and without question this is the best the choir has sounded during my tenure at LHS. We would love the community to come support our choir.”
Wade said five choir members earned spots in the California Honors Choir.
He said many of the choir members became involved during the COVID pandemic when they had to wear masks even to sing outside.
“The seniors are going to leave a big hole when they leave,” Wade said.
In addition to performing in what is probably the best acoustic space in Lassen County, the Community Choir will join the LHS Choir in performing Bob Dylan’s classic, “The Times They Are A Changing.”
