Janesville poet and founder of the Thompson Peak Writers Workshop Dianna Henning will hold a book signing (her latest collection is the critically acclaimed “Rucksacks for the Leaf Cat”) from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23 at the Lassen Library.

Henning also will discuss what it takes to be a writer.
She is a several times Pushcart Nominee and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Vermont College. Henning has won several scholarships and a fellowship to the Dublin Writers Center in Ireland. She has many publications across the country.
Henning will be giving a reading from her new book in Davis and at the Sacramento Poetry Center in early July.
