Those of us fortunate enough to have known the late Gary Felt fondly remember him for his deep love of and his generous commitment to leadership and service in our community. He was a humble and gracious mover and shaker in our community who left us much too soon and continues to be honored by an annual golf tournament in his name sponsored by the Susanville Salvation Army. He is sorely missed.

As part of the tournament, the Salvation Army holds a fundraiser auction supported by many local businesses. This year’s online auction features 66 different items up for bid.
All proceeds directly support the Salvation Army’s youth programs, including Summer Camp, Back-to-School assistance and the holiday Angel Trees.
