APP hails Supreme Court transgender decision

This morning, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in a historic decision that allows lawmakers to ban biological men from girl’s sports in West Virginia v. B.P.J., according to a statement by the American Principles Project.

This historic victory is the culmination of many years of women being subjected to men in their tracks, pools, fields, training grounds and locker rooms.

APP’s Terry Schilling released the following statement:
“The Supreme Court has handed down a landmark victory for fairness and sanity by restoring sex-based categories that protect female athletes,” Schilling said. “Girls deserve their own playing fields and private spaces, free from biological men who seek to invade them.

“Since the start of this ugly chapter in our history, too many girls have been sacrificed to radical ideology, suffering serious injuries, facing shameful threats from officials and losing scholarships and opportunities to biological males.

The American people will rightly look back on this period with disgust, but the court has taken a vital step to right these historic wrongs. More than half of states have already passed commonsense protections for young girls with the help of the American Principles Project, the rest of the nation must now follow suit.”
