According to the Lassen County Office of Education newsletter, families are invited to kick off the new school year at the Back to School Bash from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5 at Jensen Hall at the Lassen County Fairgrounds.
Hosted by Lassen County Public Health and community partners, this free event offers valuable resources to help students prepare for a successful school year.
Attendees can access immunizations, school supplies, dental supplies, oral health assessments, children’s haircuts, the Threads of Love Clothing Closet, food, games and more.
Services marked with an asterisk are available on a first-come, first-served basis for children ages 4–18, and children must be present to receive services.
Families are also encouraged to stop by the Public Health Clinic before the event to pick up immunization registration forms and help speed up the process.
