CalFire’s Lassen Modoc Unit will be assisting the California Department of Fish and Wildlife with an agricultural burn project located at the Honey Lake Wildlife Refuge, Dakin Unit.
The planned project will be conducted Thursday, Aug. 14, as conditions allow, and will reduce approximately 160 acres of flammable fuels while improving natural habitat.
Smoke may be visible in the Honey Lake Valley area near the Dakin Unit the day of the burn. Please do not report.
