CASA of Lassen Family Services is gearing up for its 7th annual Superhero Fun Run on Oct. 5.
According to a statement from Lassen Family Services, “The run will start in front of Lassen Senior Center. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the run begins at 9 a.m. Costumes are encouraged!
“All benefits from the run go to the CASA program to help provide fun activities for the CASA volunteer advocates to do with the children for whom they advocate. Funds will also go toward helping a child within the CASA program receive items such as sports equipment, shoes etc. that our grant funding does not cover.
“We look forward to seeing you there”
The fee for the 5K event is $20, and kids 10 an under are free. Adult and young participants alike are encouraged to dress as their favorite superheroes.
