CHP says slow down: Icy roads

According to a Facebook post by the California Highway Patrol, “Our officers are currently on the scene of multiple crashes across the area this morning. Roads are extremely slick, and black ice is a major hazard.

The driver in this crash is OK.
  • Reduce your speed significantly.
    • Increase following distance between vehicles.
    • Allow for extra stopping distance.
    • Slow down and move over for emergency lights.
