CSAC board takes positions on November ballot measures

The California State Association of Counties Board of Directors, representing all 58 California counties, took the following actions at its meeting on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026:

Proposition 1
Support
Authorizes bonds for housing affordability programs.

Proposition 3
Support
Provides permanent funding for schools and health care by extending existing tax on high incomes.

Proposition 43
Oppose
Limits voters’ ability to raise revenues for local government services.
