Decision on stock car racing at the Fair may come Tuesday at supes meeting
Lassen County Fair Manager Bill Payer said the Fair has received an undisclosed number of bids to operate Lassen Speedway at the Lassen County Fairgrounds this season.

The recent bids were received after the Fair issued a third request for proposals. The fair received no responses to its first RFP and only a single response to a second RFP that was rejected.

The racing community wants to race at Diamond Mountain Speedway this year.While there are no races scheduled at the Fair at this time, Payer said, “With any luck, we will have racing at the Fair.”
The Lassen County Fair Entertainment and Interim Event Committee will open and review the bids.
