Elks Lodge hosts Monday Night Football feed beginning Sept. 9

Don’t believe everything you hear from the Susanville rumor mill — the Susanville Elks Lodge is not closing.

On the contrary, the Susanville Elks Lodge announces the continuation of a long-standing Susanville tradition at the Elks Lodge — Monday Night Football.

The Monday Night Football event is held from 5 to 8 p.m. every Monday during football season featuring an $8 chili dog meal topped with Jim Uruburu’s award-winning chili and $4 drink specials.

“We’re back, and we’re starting every Monday night on the ninth,” said the Elks Lodge’s Larry Rogers.
