Lassen County Farm Bureau offers two scholarships

The Lassen County Farm Bureau, in conjunction with the American AgCredit Scholarship, offers two scholarship opportunities for local students.

All applications must be postmarked by, or delivered to, the Lassen County Farm Bureau by March 11, 2024 to qualify for this $1000 scholarship.

The scholarships are intended for students who plan to attend an accredited college or university and major in agriculture, agribusiness, business, accounting, finance or another agriculturally related field.

Application must be completed by the applicant and postmarked by or delivered to the address above by March 11, 2024, to be considered by the Scholarship Committee.

This scholarship is awarded to students graduating from a Lassen County High School, pursuing an agriculture or agri-business career. Students must plan to attend an accredited college or university and majoring in agriculture, agribusiness, business, accounting, finance or another agriculturally related field. The minimum GPA requirement to be considered for this scholarship is 3.0.

Recipients will be selected based on leadership skills, a demonstrated commitment to the industry, grades, and financial need. Finalists will be notified of the date, time, and place of an interview.

Award will be distributed at the Lassen High School Awards Night.
