Lassen Family Services announces October events

The month of October is in here and full of events for Lassen Family Services.

October is Domestic Violence Month.  Purple ribbons and posters have been hung throughout Susanville to provide our support for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Dancing For A Brand New Me is for sure to be an exciting event scheduled for Friday, Oct. 18, and Saturday, Oct. 19.  At the heart of our event is the belief that awareness can transform lives. ‘Dancing For A Brand New Me 2024’ is more than just a performance; it’s a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Expect a thrilling line-up of local novice and professional dancers who will enthrall you with their talent, passion, and inspiring stories. This concert is designed to uplift spirits, inspire hearts, and help raise funds to spread awareness and assist survivors of Domestic Violence.  Show your support by attending or sponsoring one of our amazing dance teams (or both).

It’s Ghosting Season!  Throughout October, we will be placing little ghosts into yards around Susanville.  This Ghosting is done in good Spirits!  To ghost someone, call (530) 257-5459.
