Hey Grizzly Artists
On Wednesday Oct. 9, Chalk Pastels Art Day will return to campus. We will be creating chalk artworks on the zig-zag wall leading to the 700 Building. This year we will be creating our gallery in the afternoon during 5th and 6th periods. We encourage all of you who enjoy creating art to join us in creating a temporary outdoor gallery at LHS. To be a part of this fun event, bring a sketch or picture of your intended chalk art to Ms. Weiher in rooms 716 and 717 by Monday Oct. 7 for approval. Spots are limited, so get your drawing in ASAP to be able to participate. We will be creating our artworks during 5th and 6th periods Wednesday Oct. 9.

California Scholarship Federation Applications
California Scholarship Federation applications are now available in the Counseling Office or from Mrs. Satica in Room 112. If you are a sophomore, junior or senior who earned good grades and completed 10 hours of community service, CSF is the club for you. Completed applications using last semester’s grades are due by our first meeting — Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Room 112 at lunch.

Boys Basketball
Boys’ basketball open gyms will be held from 6:45 to 8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Oct 7 through Oct 25.

Girls Basketball
Girls Basketball Open Gyms will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. October 2, 8, 10, 15, 22 and 29.
