A LassenNews reader sent us an email with questions about Honey Lake Television.
“Can you find out what is happening with Honey Lake Television,” the reader asked? “Emails are blocked, nobody answers the phones and the website has been down for weeks.”
LassenNews contacted Honey Lake Community Television’s Dan Douglas for answers.
Douglas said no one answers the phones at Honey Lake Television. If you need to ask a question using the phone, you must leave a message. He said someone should return your call.
Regarding the website, Douglss said a new one is under construction, but it has not yet been completed by the organization’s new carrier.
Douglas also said due to new towers on Shaffer Mountain, Honey Lake Television has been experiencing a lot of noise on its system.
He said Honey Lake TV is considering moving its transmission facilities to Black Mountain, but the budget has to be approved by the Lassen County Board of Supervisors first.
