LCOE appoints new member
The Lassen County Board of Education announces the appointment of William “Will” Zinn to fill the Trustee Area 4 vacancy, representing the Fort Sage, Ravendale-Termo, and Shaffer Elementary School Districts.

The board plays a vital role in shaping policies that impact students, educators, and schools across the county. Members advocate for high-quality learning environments, ensure access to resources that support student success, and collaborate with local districts to address educational needs.
“We are excited to welcome Will Zinn to the board,” said Lassen County Superintendent of Schools Patricia Gunderson. “His perspective and commitment to education will be valuable as we continue supporting students, teachers, and school communities.”
As the representative for Trustee Area 4, Zinn will work alongside fellow trustees, educators and community partners to support local schools, advocate for student-centered initiatives and ensure that Fort Sage, Ravendale-Termo, and Shaffer schools receive the resources they need.
The board looks forward to working with Zinn and benefiting from his insights to strengthen education in Lassen County.
