Thomas Montoya, Ethan Shockley, Anthony Sanchez and Dylan McGarva graduated Thursday March 26 from the Adult Corrections Core Course held at Lassen Community College, according to a Facebook post by the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office.
This course provides instructions to new correctional deputies and is required in their first year of employment. They receive instruction in operational procedures, current law, medical and mental health procedures and defensive tactics.
The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate deputies Montoya, Shockley, Sanchez and McGarva on their graduation.
We would like to thank the instructors and staff at Lassen Community College for facilitating this course for our deputies.
