According to a Facebook post by the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office, “Today we mourn the loss of Congressman Doug LaMalfa. Congressmen LaMalfa was a strong advocate for rural California, advocating for all that he diligently represented. He was a trusted partner and will be sorely missed.
