LLTT submits proposed California OHV grants

Lassen Land and Trails Trust is applying for grant funds through California State Park’s Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division for the Modoc Line Rail Trail, a shared-use, motorized public trail that travels from Wendel to Likely. We invite the public to review and comment on this application.

If awarded, the Modoc Line grant will support a field training clinic on OHV safety and wilderness survival, a family-friendly Day of Discovery on the Modoc Trail, and support the creation of an interpretive guidebook to be available in print and for download off the Trust’s website. All activities will take place in 2026.
