Number of registered voters in state falls; GOP and other parties rise slightly, Dems decline

California Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D.A total of 22,171,899 Californians are registered to vote, which is 82.43 percent of eligible Californians, compared to 83.49 percent at the same point before a general election four years ago.
Californians can register to vote or update their voter registration online at registertovote.ca.gov.
Californians who are unsure of their voter registration status can quickly check it online at voterstatus.sos.ca.gov.

The Report of Registration includes:
