Republican voter registration is surging in California — here’s why

The California Secretary of State recently released the latest report on voter registration trends for the state since February, and Republican registration surged in every state senate, state assembly, and congressional district in all 58 counties.

Reform California Chairman Carl DeMaio issued the following statement on the data|“This massive Republican voter registration surge is proof that California voters are waking up and are rebelling against the extremism of the Democrats’ Super Majority control of our state government,” Carl DeMaio said.

“Californians are feeling the pain of the failed policies of Democrats in our state – and want real change to address issues like the skyrocketing cost of living, a dangerous crime wave, record homelessness, an open border and failing schools.

“But it is not enough to have discontent – you have to ask people to make the decision to change their voter registration. I want to commend the exceptionally impactful voter registration efforts being led by former Ambassador Rick Grenell and his FIX CALIFORNIA team for the crucial role they are playing in producing this success.”
