According to a statement from the Susanville Fire Department, Public Safety Chief Mike Bollinger has suspended all burn permits effective immediately until Monday, June 2 in partnership with CalFire Lassen Modoc Unit. No burning will be allowed during this period.
This suspension results from forecasted red flag conditions expected to persist throughout the region. Please ensure all previously burned debris piles are cold to the touch.
