Mark your calendars — the Susanville Indian Rancheria’s 17th annual Powwow will be held July 10-12 at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. This drug- and alcohol-free event is open to the public.
The Grand Entries will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, July 10; 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday, July 11; and 1 p.m. Sunday, July 12.
The Head Man is Jordan Yazzie (Tacoma), and the Head Woman is Sonnie Altaha (Walla Walla).
The Host Drum is Iron Bear from Canada and Arizona.
