Time to ‘fall back’ — set your clock back one hour before retiring tonight

Ah, it’s almost that glorious day when those pesky Daylight Saving Time bandits return that hour they stole from us drowsy sleepers eight months or so ago way back in March.

Turn your clock back one hour when you go to bed tonight as Daylight Saving Time ends.

Daylight Saving Time officially ends at 2 a.m. tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 3, but most of us will turn our clocks back an hour when we go to bed tonight.

Internet and social media equipment such as computers and phones should change the time for us automatically.

But beware — if you miss changing the time before you go to bed this evening, you just might wind up at church an hour earlier than the rest of the congregation!

Standard Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 9 when the Daylight Saving Time bandits return to disrupt our slumbers all over again.

Many residents also check mark the occasion to replace the batteries in the smoke detectors when the time changes twice a year.
