A 16-year-old is in juvenile hall following alleged “terrorist threats” today, Friday, March 29.
According to a statement from the Susanville Police Department, this morning, officers were notified of a potential threat made by a student at Lassen High School.
Through the investigation, the police department “discovered a 16-year-old Lassen High School student allegedly described a specific fashion in which they would hurt people at the school.”
Officers arrested the juvenile, according to the statement, noting terrorist threats were a felony.
The juvenile was booked into the Lassen County Juvenile Hall and the case will be submitted to the District Attorney’s Office.
