These programs increase safety on our public roadways by addressing alcohol-related harm in the community. Grant funds are provided by the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The grant operation period is from Oct.1, 2024, or upon federal spending authority (whichever is later) through Aug.31, 2025.
“These grants will help reduce youth access to alcohol and increase safety in communities throughout California,” said ABC Director Joseph McCullough. “We rely on local law enforcement to help make these programs a success throughout the state.”
