Angeline Rita Palmatier went to her heavenly home Aug. 5, 2024.
Angeline was born on April 15, 1942, in Susanville, California to Jesus and Trinidad Lopez. She attended Lassen High School along with her brothers, Albert and Louis Lopez, and graduated in 1960.
Angie married Richard Earl Palmatier on June 22, 1961. They moved to Redding and lived there for more than 50 years.
Angie drove a school bus for Enterprise School District for more than 20 years where she touched the lives of hundreds of children.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Palmatier, son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Nancy Palmatier, daughter and son-in-law, Bill and Deede Cain, five grandchildren, Jacob Cain, Manuel Palmatier, Karina Palmatier, Trinity Fuentes, Candice Arredondo and one great grandson Nathaniel Cain.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Redding Christian Fellowship at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at 2157 Victor Avenue, Redding, California.
