BBB seeks Torch Award for Ethics nominations

The Better Business Bureau serving Sacramento and Northeast California announces applications are now open for the 2024 Torch Awards for Ethics.

The internationally-recognized Torch Awards honors businesses that demonstrate outstanding commitment to trust and marketplace ethics within the 24-county service area of BBB serving Sacramento and Northeast California.

The Torch Awards for Ethics competition was created to honor businesses that demonstrate their commitment to trust and marketplace ethics, and the award embodies BBB’s mission to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust.

The Torch Awards are presented to businesses that go above and beyond in their dealings with customers, employees, vendors, and the community.

Businesses that exemplify ethical behavior are fundamental to maintaining trust in the marketplace. The BBB encourages all eligible businesses, whether they are BBB Accredited or not, to apply or be nominated for the Torch Awards for Ethics to showcase their dedication to ethics and leadership.

Two additional awards include

• BBB Spark Award, awarded to businesses where at least one of the business owners is under the age of 35, or the business is less than three years in operation.
• Community Collaborator Award, awarded to PBIDs, Chambers of Commerce, NGOs, etc.
