According to a Facebook post, the Susanville Area California Highway Patrol hosts a Start Smart drivers education course for teens and their parents from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22 at the CHP Office, 472-400 Diamond Crest Road in Susanville.
According to the post, “In an effort to prepare young drivers to drive responsibly, the California Highway Patrol is offering new driver education classes for new drivers and their parents. Start Smart, presented by CHP, addresses such topics as the safe driving practices, the rules of the road and new driver license requirements.”
