CHP reminds motorists of Highway 32 construction work

According to a Facebook post, work is underway on the Potato Patch Springs Project along Highway 32 in Tehama County.

Crews started construction Aug. 25 to replace one culvert and install three new culverts and drainage inlets between the Butte/Tehama County line and the Highway 36 junction. This $508k project will help improve drainage along the highway.

What to expect

  • One-way traffic control with up to 10-minute delays Mondays–Fridays, 7 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Project is expected to wrap up by the end of September.

If you’re traveling in the area, please plan a little extra time, follow posted speed limits and use extra caution around crews.
