According to a Facebook post by the California Highway Patrol, a vigilant citizen called 911 after witnessing a dark gray sedan traveling at high speeds, crossing double yellow lines and flashing its headlights at other vehicles.
Officers from the CHP Quincy Area responded and conducted an enforcement stop on the vehicle. The driver exhibited signs of alcohol intoxication, and was ultimately arrested for DUI. During an inventory of the vehicle, officers discovered several empty containers of alcohol.
