Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints presents live nativity

Experience the true spirit of Christmas during a live drive-through biblical production of the birth of Jesus Christ held in Susanville this December.

This family-friendly, outdoor Live Nativity will run for two nights — from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, Sunday, Dec.17.

Admission to the Live Drive-Through Nativity is free. You can arrive anytime between 6 and 9 p.m.

Any vehicle in line by 9 p.m. will be let in. A sign will be on the last vehicle of the night.

This event is open to the public and located on the grounds of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 905 Richmond Road — across from Diamond View Middle School.

Be sure to tune in your radio station to the posted channel and enjoy inspiring music as you make your way through The Live Nativity experience.

This event will feature scenes leading up to the birth of Jesus Christ. Roman Soldiers will guide you through as you experience Mary and Joseph traveling to the City of David to pay their taxes, the shepherds in the field keeping watch over their flocks by night, a multitude of Heavenly Hosts praising God and the glorious birth of Jesus Christ into the world.

Children and adults will love the authentic experience of live animals.

The church is thrilled to announce that this year it has extended the event from 1 hour to 3 hours per night. This will allow for a shorter wait time, and we hope you can enjoy the experience without being rushed.

The church is excited to share the greatest story ever told and believe that it will bring the spirit of hope, peace and light to all who attend.

Participants will enjoy this event from the comfort of their own vehicle. Grab your friends and come experience The Live Nativity!
