The city of Susanville’s Public Works Department (along with the Lassen County Air Pollution District and C&S Waste) announce the annual Leaf Collection program — Oct. 21 through Dec. 6 — according to a Facebook post.
According to the post, city residents are welcome to drop off bagged leaves that are tied securely in the vacant lot at the intersection of Skyline and Numa roads.
Only bagged leaves are permitted — no waste or trash allowed. There is a 40-pound limit per bag and bags should be dropped in designated areas only.
Elderly and disabled residents may call (530) 257-1041 to arrange pickup of bagged and tied leaves.
